Meet the team
Nick Oparvar qualified as a dentist in 1994 from Karolinska Dental School in Stockholm, Sweden. Throughout his years of practice, he has developed his knowledge of dentistry and specifically Implantology, by attending various courses.
In 2000 he studied implantology at the Branemark clinic in Gothenburg, Sweden. Professor Branemark, also known as the father of implantology, discovered a way to integrate implants within human bones. Therefore, it was a great honour to study implantology at his clinic. The following year he attended the Surgical Hospital of Vasteras to further his skills in the surgical aspect of implant surgery. Here he observed complex cases of augmentation, sinus grafting, all on 4, as well as fully/partially edentulous patients with severe bone loss.
Since than he has had experience of placing thousands of implants throughout the years, with varying levels of difficulties. It is his firm belief that there is always a way of bettering our knowledge of implantology and he is always seeking better, simpler and more accurate ways of treating each individual case.
Nick has over 15 years of experience placing implants for patients, using techniques at the forefront of Implantology. At present his passion for implantology has led him to complete an MSc in Implantology from Goethe university in Frankfurt, a university offering the latest research into scientific techniques and developments in implantology.
